A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AN EMERGENCY ROOM REVIEW

Our Emergency Room Review includes, but is not limited to Charge Sheets, and Compliance. The main focus of this Review is on the accuracy of ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Codes, CPT Procedure Codes, Evaluation and Management (E&M Codes), the utilization of Modifiers, and the level of Documentation. UB-04s and Detail Bills are also reviewed for compliance, and when appropriate, the ER Section of the Charge Master is also validated. Education will be provided for your staff, and a presentation can be arranged for your physicians; at no additional cost. A comprehensive written report will be submitted in a timely manner.
