Emergency Room Review includes, but
is not limited to Charge Sheets, and
Compliance. The main focus of this
Review is on the accuracy of ICD-9-CM
Diagnosis Codes, CPT Procedure Codes,
Evaluation and Management (E&M
Codes), the utilization of Modifiers,
and the level of Documentation. UB-04s
and Detail Bills are also reviewed
for compliance, and when appropriate,
the ER Section of the Charge Master
is also validated. Education will be
provided for your staff, and a presentation
can be arranged for your physicians;
at no additional cost. A comprehensive
written report will be submitted in
a timely manner.
