During
a standard Physicians’ Code Review,
we originally focus on the
ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Codes, Evaluation and Management (E&M) level assignments,
CPT Procedure Codes, Modifiers, and the completeness of Documentation. Additionally,
we will Review the Physicians’ Charge Documents/Super Bill, Form #1500,
and the corresponding Detail Bills. Where needed or requested, Education will
be provided, compliance will be verified, and a comprehensive, written report
will be submitted in a timely manner.
